The Sign Ordinance is being updated @PeoriaAZ. WeMAR has given written input and has attended stake holder meetings to staff through the process. Now it is YOUR TURN to give input on the sign ordinance and how it affects you, your clients, business and all property owners in Peoria.
The need to update the City sign ordinance came about in July 2015 when the Supreme Court ruled the Town of Gilbert’s sign ordinance unconstitutional. WeMAR has written a White Paper designed to educate members, elected officials and their staff.
The first in a series of public meetings will be Aug. 3rd, 6:30pm at Council Chambers. 8401 W Monroe St, Peoria, Az 85345. Below is the full meeting schedule:
August 3rd – Planning & Zoning Commission Study Session – discussion only, no decision
August 17th – Planning & Zoning Commission – possible recommendation to City Council
September 5th – City Council Study Session – discussion only, no decision
September 19th – City Council – possible decision
